Professional Development Group II, Inc.

Lead Communications Designer

January 2012 - August 2012

The start of my career began not as a web developer, but as a graphic designer. I was tasked with designing brochures, handbooks, agendas, websites, postcards, and web advertisements under fast deadlines for the company’s clients. I primarily utilized Adobe InDesign CS5, but often worked within Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver CS5. The extent of my web development within this position remained within the BigCommerce E-Commerce platform with a few exceptions of websites not using this platform.

The Art Institute of Indianapolis introduces their web designers to common graphic design techniques before applying programming to ensure that each graduate leaves with the foundations to create a fantastic experience for the end users of the product.
